FRIENDS is a vivacious, active, and caring auxiliary. Any person interested in supporting the purposes of FRIENDS is invited to join. A member can be of service by participating on one or more of the following committees:


Activities
FRIENDSHIP COMMITTEE:
 Plans/Coordinates parties and activities throughout the year for the residents and visits residents on a regular basis.

GIFT SHOP COMMITTEE:
Staffs the Gift Shop, assists residents in making purchases, and provides a weekly shopping service.

HISTORICAL COMMITTEE:
 Keeps history books and records current with newspaper articles and pictures.

HOST/HOSTESS COMMITTEE:
 Provides hosts/hostesses for the Sunday noon dinner, special events, and guides for tours of Barb City Manor.		 Oktoberfest

INTERIOR FURNISHINGS COMMITTEE:
 Enhances the attractiveness of the physical environment of Barb City Manor.

LIBRARY COMMITTEE:
 Maintains current books and magazines in a relaxing environment.
FRIENDS Room
MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE:
 Collects dues and keeps a current record of all members and their volunteer interests.

PUBLICITY COMMITTEE:
 Advertises meetings and special functions.

RESALE SHOP COMMITTEE:
 Provides a quality resale shop consisting of clothing and home accessories.

SEASONAL DECORATION COMMITTEE: Decorates Barb City Manor in keeping with holiday and seasonal changes.		 Seasonal Decorations

TELEPHONE COMMITTEE: Notifies members of special events.
